Brandon Reese is a Los Angeles–based jazz fusion guitarist and composer creating instrumental music rooted in groove, harmony, and expressive improvisation. Active since 2005, his work bridges classic jazz fusion with Latin, Rock and Orchestral Arrangements.
In addition to his solo albums, Brandon Reese collaborated closely with jazz pianist and solo artist Vernell Brown Jr.(Kenny Garrett, Gladys Knight), working together on Brown’s final album prior to his passing. Vernell Brown Jr. also appeared on Reese’s composition Andrea. Reese has also performed on Clinton Fortson’s album Zero To Sixty.
A pivotal moment in Reese’s artistic direction came after seeing the fusion group CAB perform live at the The Baked Potato Jazz Club. The performance, featuring Bunny Brunel, Tony MacAlpine, Virgil Donati, and Brian Auger, solidified his commitment to instrumental fusion.
Since 2009, Reese has shared performances and guitar instruction through his YouTube channel brandonpanther, which has reached close to one million views.
His discography includes the EPs Operation Clockwork (2011), Time Frame (2023), and Anxiety Blues (2026).
